Workshops
WE STILL HAVE SOME SPACES ON OUR WORKSHOPS
WORKSHOPS ARE TAKING PLACE ALL DAY ON THURDAY 15TH MAY & THE MORNING OF FRIDAY 16TH MAY

Our popular workshops are back - better than ever. Click here to get more details and if you are interested in taking part, make sure you reserve you place soon. All you need to do is call or email us & we will reserve a place for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Loi's Mini Workshop can no longer attend the Festival. This means that her workshop has been cancelled. We have replaced it with a fabulous workshop with Liz LePla of E.L.F. She will help you design & built a fitted kitchen for your dolls house. One NOT to be missed...

Saturday & Sunday Talks.
Some of our speakers for our free talks taking place on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th May are now confirmed. Last year we had some great speakers, and it was a great way to take a break from the exhibition, grab a cup of coffee & spend half an hour trying to understand how these amazing craftsmen make their incredible miniatures.

Foyer Displays
Starlight Garden - by Sue Cook
A magical nocturnal garden scene

The Whimsy House - by Charlotte Thun-Hohenstein & Georgina Church
Inspired by what they saw at the KDF last year, 2 students have transformed an unused & unloved dolls house into their own surreal fantasy.

The London Scene - by the Clacton Dolls House & Miniatures Club
We set a challenge to one of the best local Miniatures Club. Create 3 scenes depicting the other important event of London's Social Scene, Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot & Wimbledon. We are so excited to see the results...

Exhibitor's Retrospective
In 2009 the Festival will be 25 years old. Looking forward to this, we are delighted to have a small display from 2 of our Exhibitors who have appeared at all (or almost all) of the 25 Festivals. This year we are delighted to have Mulvany & Rogers- who are celebrating their 25th Annerversary in 2008 & John Hodgson - one of the UK's most respected miniature furniture maker.

Children’s activites

All children love dolls houses & miniatures! We want to encourage a new generation of talented miniaturists, so will be organising a special area for young miniaturists to come and make a miniature of their own, with help & advice from the KDF team. This year 2007 KDF cup winner Penny Thomson has designed so fabulous historical paper characters to cut out & decorate. This will be for children of all ages & is free of charge.

CHILDREN'S CRAFT CLUB OPENING TIMES
Saturday 17th May 1pm - 4pm
Sunday 18th May 11am - 3.30pm

SPECIAL CLUB OFFER

Mouse Hunt
We had a great response to our mouse hunt last year, so it will return in 2008. This is for people of all ages, and is a great way to keep children occupied as you walk around the Festival. 20 mice will be hidden throughout the show, if you manage to find them, you will have the chance to win a beautiful mouse designed by Eric Horne
