How to apply to exhibit at the Festival

If you think your work is good enough for the Festival, we would love to see some samples.  This is because we have very high standards for the quality of work shown at the Festival, so we like to view everyone's work, before putting them on our waiting list.

You can post your samples (including return postage fee) to our office.  We do not need to see hundreds of items, just a few pieces to give us an idea of the quality & detail that you sometimes can't see in pictures.  Please also send details about yourself, how long you have been making, what other shows you attend etc. We send out contracts approximately 6-8 months before an event, so please give us plenty of time to view your product.  We will return your samples quickly as possible.

As we have only a limited amount of space at Kensington Town Hall, we cannot offer everyone who wants a space the chance to exhibit.  Each show we have 15-20 tables available for new exhibitors, who will be chosen from our waiting list. We have to balance the show, making sure there is a wide range of items available, so some areas (eg dolls, food) will progress up the list more slowly as there is greater competition in these areas.

Once you have become an Exhibitor at the Festival, you will automatically be offered a table at the same show the following year.  If you are interested in doing 2 shows a year, you will be put on the waiting list again for the second show, until a table becomes available. (Please note: we have such a high number of doll & food makers wishing to attend the Festival at the moment, that any new doll or food makers will only be able to attend one Festival per year).

KDF Showcase

Are you still unsure if you are ready to exhibit at the Festival, or maybe you are unable to attend this year? Instead, you can always display your work in our Showcase.



Celestyal will be exhibiting their work in the KDF Showcase 2012.

The KDF Showcase is a glass cabinet, full of work from craftsmen who can't, for various reasons, attend the show themselves.  It is ideal for craftsmen who have not exhibited at a Miniatures show before, to get their work seen & to get feedback, without the expense of attending the Show in person, or, if you are unable to come to the show yourself, your work will still be seen.

The Showcase is located directly opposite the KDF Reception Desk, perfect for visitors to the Festival to view on their way in & out of the show. We use professional illuminated 6’ high glass fully lockable Cabinets.  The standard shelf space measures 30 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm but if you need more space to display your work, this can be arranged. 

Space in the Showcase costs £80 This includes a full entry in our FREE Show Catalogue, but remember, the cost of getting your miniatures to & from the KDF is also your responsibility.

Please note: we do not have a Showcase at our Christmas Festival.
